Fastlane Speedgates – Glassgate 300
The Fastlane Glassgate 300 model has dual glass swing barrier. The size of the glass panels are supplied for either a standard lane width of 660mm. Or for a wider width of 914mm to provide disabled access compliant to regulations. It is available in four height options from pedestal height to 1800mm.
There is also a tall shaft in place in order to support the glass panels. This safety feature ensures that the glass won’t break under any significant force. Laminated and toughened glass is also used for all the barriers, for extra safety.
Glassgate 300 Systems at BDS
The enclosure is supplied using stainless steel with a brushed stainless steel finish with glass side panels, options for other materials and finishes on request. The pedestal top is stainless steel that features Black Quartz Corian inserts. To, therefore, facilitate concealed or surface mounted card readers.
This model also comes with five different options for standard reader cards as well as the capability to have IP connectivity.

You’re able to customise the glass barriers on the Glassgate 300 model. It barriers are available in four different heights: the standard which is 3.2′, or you could upgrade to either the 4′, 5′, or 6′.
With the optional locking brake feature, the Fastlane Glassgate 300 turnstile can help to provide a definite deterrent for unauthorised users. As it ensures the barriers cannot be pushed open when it’s in a closed mode.
If any unauthorised users do try to gain access, alarms will sound and this alarms can be linked to various different Access Control systems. Therefore, the same applying for CCTV and building management.
